We are grateful for the regular support that Lucy Mackenzie, owner of Lip Na Cloiche, gives us, and as a group we always enjoy providing tea and cakes at her summer Charity Garden Open Days.
Lip Na Cloiche is a small, densely planted garden on the Isle of Mull, open to the public. It is well worth seeing, especially if you are interested in finding out which plants are likely to thrive in the mild local climate. There is no admission charge; however, a donation would be appreciated if you wish to visit the garden; 25% of money raised is donated to local charities.
The Waterfall Fund is an independent charity specifically set up to distribute grants to community projects on the islands of Mull, Iona and the surrounding small islands. We are grateful to be a recipient of a grant to help us towards creating the sand arena for Mull RDA.
The Lennox Hannay Charitable Trust
The Lennox Hannay Charitable Trust support a wide range of charitable causes and we are grateful to be a recipient of a grant to help us towards creating the sand arena for Mull RDA.
The Heart of the Community Trust was set up to help with some of the issues that remote and rural communities can face. We were very grateful to be a recipient of a grant to help us towards creating the sand arena for Mull RDA.
A Binman’s View of Mull and Iona
A Binman’s View of Mull and Iona is a facebook group set up by Colin Morrison. His photos taken on his bin rounds soon gained a huge following and Colin decided to publish an annual calendar to support local charities and groups. We were very pleased to be selected to be one of the recipients of the 2023 Calendar sales charity donations.
